Protest Music Hall of Fame 2019 Inductees

Bikini Kill, Artist’s Bandcamp

The final results are in and we now have the list of inductees into the second year of the Protest Music Hall of Fame.

I will admit that Hall of Fame could be considered a misnomer. Instead of awarding accolades, it is about building awareness for socially conscious music. As the reach of this website grows, we will be able to continue to receive a wider range of responses. In the future I’ll also like to reach out to more music historians, journalist and musicians to help with this archival project.

Eventually, the plan is to do writeups for all of the inductees, but I’m way behind. For now, posted below will be three different Spotify playlists, for artists, albums and songs. The playlist includes last years inductees as well.
