This is the latest single by the queer punk band from Belfast. On the video’s YouTube page it mention the clear intent of the tune: “This song is for women, for trans people, queer people, people with disabilities, pregnant people, fat people, older people, ethnic minorities and people of colour. It’s for marginalised groups who find themselves sourcing healthcare within their communities because they struggle to access it in the traditional setting. Are those remedies and superstitions you heard growing up old wives’ tales, or were women shunned from healthcare, and so began exchanging knowledge with each other, based on their lived experiences?” The song definitely resonates with anyone who has ever had their health concerns ignored or minimized.
