“Many Faces” is a new single off of James upcoming album, Living In Extraordinary Times. The English band 15th studio album is due out August 3, 2018.
The catchy sing along chorus is a call of unity. It is a reminder that even though there are many faces, there is only one human race, and all of those faces belong. It definitely resonates with the band’s native country and Brexit and with the current anti-immigration policy in the USA.
The song also addresses potentially divisive issues such as religious differences. As humans we need to put those differences aside. A isolationist policy based on fear will only breed further discord. We need to embrace what makes our fellow humans unique. Welcoming the many faces into the one human race only enriches our humanity.
