“Mr. Weinstein Will See You Now” is a poignant collaboration between Amanda Palmer and UK indie artist Jasmine Power. On Palmer’s YouTube page for the video it made the following statement about the tune: “this song is dedicated to every woman everywhere around the world who has been trapped in a room with a man who used his power to rip her mind in two”.
The back story for the song is provided on Palmer’s Patreon page for the project. 100% of the digital sales until June 30, 2018, will be donated to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.
This song is needed in the current climate and it is impossible to listen to without getting chills.
